Chicago technology tested to remove "forever chemicals" from water

Local scientists have recently secured additional funding to advance technologies aimed at eliminating toxic "forever chemicals" from the Great Lakes. This funding will support the testing of Will Dichtel's latest technology, which utilizes a material derived from corn. This innovative approach rapidly binds PFAS as water flows through it, and it is a crucial component of the Current's ReNEW initiative.
