Irving M. Klotz Memorial Symposium April 26-27, 2006 - A symposium honoring Irv Klotz brought together many of his colleagues, alumni, collaborators and friends supported by Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences, the Department of Chemistry, the Chemistry of Life Processes Institute, and the Department of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Cell Biology, by a grant from Abbott Laboratories, and by a grant from Integrated DNA Technologies. Tobinstock November 5,6 & 7, 2004 - In the fall of 2004, Prof. Tobin Marks turned 60. Research associates, alumni and collaborators came together to celebrate his career. Pictures of the event are now available: Group, Reception, Dinner and Remarks.

 

Chemistry of Life Processes Launch April 19, 2004 - Northwestern held a symposium commemorating the start of the Chemistry of Life Processes Institute. Pictures of the event are now available: Symposium and Poster Session. The CLP Institute is directed by Thomas O'Halloran, and includes fellow Chemistry professors Richard Silverman, Thomas Meade, Hilary Godwin, Karl Scheidt and Olke Ulenbeck.
