You are cordially invited to participate in the second annual Chicago Organic Symposium to be held at Northwestern University, Evanston, IL on February 27th, 2010. The campus of Northwestern University is located on the shore of beautiful Lake Michigan approximately 10 miles north of downtown Chicago. This exciting event will be held at the Allen Center, the home of Northwestern’s Executive Education programs for its Kellogg Business School.

Organic chemistry is a central science that fuels discoveries in pharmaceutical research, biology, materials, and medicine. The ability to create new molecule entities with precise control and discover new reactions has and will continue to profoundly impact society. The purpose of this conference is to bring together all levels of organic chemists (research scientists, faculty, postdoctoral fellows, graduate and undergraduate students) from the Chicago area. This second symposium is a continuation of last year's celebration and we hope that it becomes an annual event for many years to come. We are looking forward to welcoming you to Northwestern in February for the second COS! Karl Scheidt George Sheppard Organizers
